OUR MISSION

Give Life, Save Life Foundation is based in San Francisco, California. The focus of GLSL is to educate and increase the awareness in African American communities of the importance, the need and the power to save lives through organ donations.

Keith Crawford, CEO/Founder of Give Life, Save Life Foundation, was inspired along with Lenore Crawford, to establish GLSL after the tragic loss of their eldest daughter Brittany Crawford in a car accident in 2012. Once they knew that their beloved was brain-dead, both Keith and Lenore made the lifesaving decision to denote Brittany’s organs so that others can live. Brittany saved 4 lives through organ donation.

Currently, African Americans are the least likely ethnic group to become organ donors, while almost 45% will need some sort of transplant in their lifetime.

While other non-profit organizations focus on the general populations need for organs, GLSL Foundation focuses on the disparities and the need for the organ donations in the African American communities.

Support and financial contributions/donations received by GLSL Foundation are being used for;
